These are our blue laced red Wyandottes. They were hatched 2-21-09 and shipped to us from Murray McMurray Hatchery. We received them on the morning of 2-23-09. These we ordered as "straight run" which means that there could be a mix of pullets and cockerels. We are hoping for a blue laced red rooster out of the bunch and at least one blue laced red hen.

Our blue laced reds are split into two groups, three are pretty friendly and two are very shy. I'll be working with the two shy ones to try and make them feel safe with us!

The runt of all of our chicks is one of the BLRs he or she is much smaller than the rest. We are praying for the little one, that it is just small and there is nothing else wrong with it!
